The Plant Engineering Department encompasses our Process, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering disciplines. Our staff has extensive knowledge of processes and control technologies for the industries we serve which gives us the ability to provide exceptional and unique value to our clients. Plant Engineering defines the architecture of the plant by means of design criteria, process flow sheets, equipment flow sheets, site plans and general arrangement drawings. The plant architecture is conceptualized during the Feasibility Study and then further developed during Basic Engineering. It is finalized after all the equipment has been purchased and the vendor technical and dimensional data has been incorporated.
Plant Engineering drives all the other disciplines and is therefore a key part of the design process. PENTA offers all aspects of Plant Engineering Design including specifications for equipment procurement, installation and mechanical construction. Our Plant Engineering group also provides all detail drawings for piping and duct installations, environmental controls, material handling chutes and any other detail information required by metal platework fabricators and mechanical construction contractors.
