In 2005, PENTA’s Senior Consultant worked with the key staff at CCCL and with their parent Trinidad Cement Co. Ltd. (TCL) to provide conceptual engineering and feasibility studies for the expansion of CCCL’s plant in Kingston.  PENTA’s Process Consulting Group performed cost estimates of numerous expansion options and was intimately involved with presenting these options to the Senior Management at TCL and, subsequently, to the International Finance Committee of the World Bank.

Between 2006 and 2008, PENTA prepared detailed bid documents for the main process equipment, evaluated the bids, and made recommendations to CCCL; and, upon selection of the equipment suppliers, provided detailed electrical, structural and the balance of plant mechanical engineering for the entire new kiln line project.

Other recent projects for CCCL included a new cement vertical roller mill, modification of a clinker material handling system, a raw material supply analysis and kiln audit.
