DESIGN/BUILD SOLUTIONS FOR IMPROVING LOGISTICS
Your ability to quickly and efficiently distribute your products is critical to profitability. Our clients are interested in expedited construction schedules for distribution terminals.
Over thirty years of experience in expedited construction of distribution terminals and transloading terminals, have led to PENTA’s use of highly cost effective modular/containerized designs with prefabricated, fully shop-assembled systems that reduce field installation time.
THE PENTA PIT:
The “PENTA PIT” (High speed rail unloading system) allows ground-breaking to begin earlier in the project. PENTA’s economical “PITS” have successfully reduced costs and expedited construction schedules for many terminal projects. Terminals range in storages from 500-8000 ston storage in steel bins and significantly higher amounts in concrete silos. The withdrawal rate can be up to 600 stph depending on the truck. Terminals design incorporate maintenance requirement, access and environmental safe guards. Terminal location determines use of deep foundations.
PENTA has constructed special features in certain cases to cater to location specific needs. In a tornado-prone area we recently built a tornado shelter to enhance employee safety. Similarly our designs incorporate special requirements for high-seismic zones, high-wind speed and any other project site specific need.
