When Petko joined PENTA, he openly acknowledged that the world of heavy industrial engineering was unfamiliar to him. In the three decades since, he has become an integral part of the organization’s growth and success.
Throughout his tenure, Petko has contributed to many of PENTA’s most significant projects, including the completion of more than ten full cement plants. He has also served in several key leadership roles—Structural Engineer, Department Manager, Director of Engineering, and now President.
His dedication, professional excellence, and lasting impact on the company are clear.

This year, we’re proud to celebrate Tom Boutaugh’s 26 Years of Impact at PENTA.
Throughout his career, Tom has contributed to hundreds of projects across 49 states—and around the world, including South America, the Middle East, and Asia. His experience spans large-scale projects and targeted studies alike, from cement plants and terminals to mining operations, plant conversions, ready-mix facilities, and barge and ship loadouts.
What defines Tom’s journey is his commitment to seeing projects through—navigating challenges, collaborating with great people, and taking pride in what’s been accomplished. Over 26 Years of Impact, he has supported more than 100 clients, always focused on delivering value and helping them succeed.

Abdul is licensed as a professional engineer in AZ, IA, ME, MO, NV, SC, and TX. Abdul has spent the past decade building strong engineering teams grounded in collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
One of his most meaningful milestones was managing PENTA’s structural engineering scope of work for the Mitchell, Indiana Cement Line Expansion Project, total project value of over $700 Million, successfully delivering PENTA’s scope from detailed design to project completion. A true testament to teamwork and technical rigor.
